We have been hearing about this ‘event’ for centuries now. It is almost entertaining reading the various theories out there about how the world will end in 2019, 2021. While I do agree, Covid- 19 impacted the world population more than what we could imagine, we are still not at the end, YET. It can be scary thinking about ‘The End Of The World’; my thoughts on this are, will I even be alive to witness even part of it?; seems pretty unreal to me.

While many say that technology will be what will eradicate humanity, others firmly disagree. We are dependent on technology but how far is it a threat to humanity? In another article that I wrote, I brought forward ‘The Metaverse’, that is, very advanced digital interactions, in which Mark Zuckerberg, is spending billions per year. Many economists saw this as a major threat to humanity for they believe the world is not ready to see such inventions yet. True. To some point. The whole point of human nature is to adjust and corporate and that is exactly what everyone has been doing for the past few decades. One adjusts and learns; we will be doing just that if The Metaverse is successful.

In 2021, where many predicted it will be the end of humankind, we are all still here and thriving. These predictions included:

  • The zombie apocalypse: An army of ‘the dead’ terrorizing citizens, feeding on human brains, and slowly but surely taking over the world? Sounds like it came right off a movie to me. This was a controversial topic when it was discussed and was soon pushed under the rug.
  • The second coming: ‘The return of Jesus’. It’s American pastor Kenton Beshore who claims he has hard evidence that this will happen in 2021. His credibility is questioned by many by the fact that his first prediction was the end of the world to happen in 1988. And it… didn’t.
  • The hidden Torah code: Some “scholars” have supposedly just deciphered a series of hidden codes in the Jewish Torah’s first five books. And, you guessed it, they translate as “the world will end in 2021.” So who knows, we still have a few days left of 2021!

The world is still young, but death waits for no one, does it? While many of us have yet to live and explore, so does the world. It is unknown to man, a big part of it: the sea, the space, the soil. We do not know a lot. We have made impressive breakthroughs in the past and it does not end here. There is a lot more.

Once 2021 goes by, there will be predictions, a lot of them. But we do not know the future, what will happen or not? So why not just live right now and concentrate on us.

There will be one day where one of those predictions will be right, we just do not know if we’ll be there long enough to know which one was it. So for now, let’s live!
